The Vipers Annual Charity Golf Day takes place this year on Wednesday September 29th at the wonderful Ramside Hall, and in addition to the Vipers Community Foundation there is another beneficiary.
Proceeds of the day will be split between VCF and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Teams of four will play in an 18-hole Texas Scramble followed by a two-course dinner with after dinner speaker, prize giving and competitions.
It will be a fun day and give supporters the chance to mix with Vipers players and other local celebrities, while companies will have the opportunity to network with other local businesses.
Vipers Chairman Paddy O'Connor formally launched the event, saying: "The Golf Day has always been a big part of the club's community activity, and this year is no different.
"We're delighted to be helping not only the Vipers Community Foundation but also Macmillan Cancer Support.
"I would think almost every one of our fans has been affected by cancer in some way, and Macmillan do fantastic work so it's definitely a worthwhile cause."
Team places in the Vipers Golf Day are now available at £295 for a team of four, which will include a Vipers player or North East celebrity. O'Connor says the costs have been kept low to encourage supporters as well as businesses to take part.
"We want to make the event as accessible as possible, and the pricing reflects that. Whether it's a corporate team from a multinational business or a group of fans clubbing together to enter a team - we want to see as many as possible tee up at Ramside."
Entrants will get:
- coffee and bacon rolls on arrival
- 18 hole Texas Scramble
- two course meal
- Gifts, prizes and competitions
- After dinner speaker and prize presentation
- A fun day and chance to network
